Ted Mallett, Vice-President and Chief Economist at the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses (CFIB), will be coming to Collingwood on January 16, 2017 to discuss the Canadian Federation of Independent Business’ 2016 Entrepreneurial Communities report released in October, 2016. Collingwood was the top entrepreneurial community in Canada in this report.
“Keep Accelerating Entrepreneurship is the name of this event as it’s a way of congratulating businesses on their amazing accomplishment of being ranked #1 for entrepreneurship, and also inspiring discussion on further efforts that are needed to keep accelerating entrepreneurship in the region,” commented Martin Rydlo, Director of Marketing & Business Development for the Town of Collingwood.
The Town of Collingwood is hosting a lunchtime event on January 16 at which Mr. Mallett will be speaking about the report and answering some key questions about Collingwood: What helped? What hindered? And how do we focus on our greatest opportunities?
Visit www.Collingwood.Business/Events/ for more information and tickets. Seating is limited for this event. Buying tickets in advance is recommended. The event will take place at the Temple Building, 126 Hurontario Street. The cost is $20 and includes a light lunch.
