Special events abound in Downtown Collingwood with activities that
will keep you busy year round.
In January and February, celebrate the winter season with snow
sculptures lining the streets in the downtown's salute to snow!
March and April signals the arrival
of Spring and the Easter Bunny in Downtown Collingwood with plenty of activities
for children.
In May, celebrate Mom and enjoy music on the street and
our annual Walking Fashion Tour.
June brings the the talent of area artists
to the street
during our annual Art Walk, held in cooperation with the Blue
Mountain Foundation for the Arts.
July is a month full of fun, music, art and entertainment.
Beginning with the downtown's annual Collingwood Festival for Canada,
continuing with
the Collingwood Jazz and Blues Festival and culminating with
Collingwood's salute to the
King
of Rock and Roll -The Collingwood Elvis Festival. All taking
place in Downtown Collingwood.
Every Civic Holiday weekend in August,
Downtown
Collingwood
plays host to the Georgian Bay Arts and Crafts Association Annual
Art Show.
September welcomes the dragons as the local Rotary clubs host the Collingwood
Dragon Boat Festival on the waterfront in downtown Collingwood. Enjoy
the taste
of the variety
of dining experiences during the downtown's restaurant tour.
In
October the fall colours bring a new look to Downtown Collingwood, and
a celebration
of
all things
Canadian with great fall activities for the entire family as
we enjoy the Thanksgiving season.
November and December brings "Christmas in Collingwood".
Two months filled with the spirit and beauty of the holiday season.
