It was a warm summer-like day in Historic Downtown Collingwood on Sunday April 20th, a perfect day to take a walking tour of the downtown streets and to sample some of the mouth watering food and drink to be found in the outstanding downtown restaurants. Downtown Collingwood welcomed participtants of the 2008 Spring Downtown Restaurant Walking Tour. A large turnout broke into smaller groups to take a guided tour throughut the downtown to sample incredible cuisine. Guides described the history of each restaurant while restaurant owners and staff served special treats. The warm weather allowed Downtown Collingwood restaurants and coffee shops to open their summer patios to allow visitors to sit in the warm sun and relax.
