Collingwood Elvis Festival
Summer's Biggest Party!

Huge crowds packed Downtown Collingwood on Friday July 25th for the popular Awesome Street Party and Tribute Artist Showcase
It's All About The Music ... and having fun!

This year's Awesome Street Party & Tribute Artist Showcase in Downtown Collingwood began at 1pm on Friday July 25th and continued until midnight, featuring performances by over 130 Elvis Tribute Artists. This event has grown in popularity to the point were people were actually arriving at 6am to secure front row seats. This year, the Collingwood Elvis Festival introduced the SIRIUS Satellite Radio "All Canadian Stage." This venue was located in the Pine Street Parking lot and acted as a "Canadian Star" practice stage for artists to prepare for their performance on the Main Street Stage at the Friday Night Street Party. In addition, the stage will host a martial arts demonstration, the Graceliners tribute to Elvis, the Family Venue Tour and Canada's own Mike Cadillac and the Rockin' 88's performing live, on stage. On Sunday, July 27th, a variety of young performers will take to the stage for the annual "Youth Talent Showcase."

The Collingwood Elvis Festival has a special meaning to many performers. Former Champion Robin Kelly from Edmonton Alberta returned for another visit. "I will always be in debt to this festival because it gave me my start" Kelly says. Kelly, along with other former champions, participated at "The Champions Tour" in Downtown Collingwood, and performed at many other venues throughout the region on the weekend.
