Downtown Collingwood Welcomes Drew Wright Voted Top 5 On Canadian Idol |

Drew Wright put on a show to say "thank you" to Collingwood recently at The Station. He is certainly enjoying being a part of the Canadian Idol experience, knowing in the back of his mind that the national television exposure he is receiving will help him achieve a career in the music business. "There's a lot of amazing talent this year" Wright said in an online interview on CTV.ca. when asked about the artists he has met. "I'd love to perform for a living. It would be amazing" he added. You may have seen Drew Wright perform as the lead singer for the popular local band "Malleus," winner of the Rock 95 Battle of the Bands competition a year ago. "I'd never done Idol before.
